GIS ANALYST (TRANSPORT) - ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY - DUBLIN
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is an award winning international engineering consultancy,
currently undergoing rapid growth.
The successful applicant will act as an integral member of the
Highways & Transport Team developing digital and geospatial solutions
across a range of sectors - transportation, highways, infrastructure
and environment.
Enhance GIS map production
Prepare and utilise tools for GIS data conversion/editing/creation
Provide GPS field work support
Undertake spatial database management and reporting
Spatial analysis/reporting tasks
Development of environmental management and assessment tools
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors or MSc degree-level qualification in Geographical
Information Systems (GIS) or geospatial systems;
Experience using ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS (AutoCAD would also be an
advantage);
Experience in geospatial analysis and modelling;
Knowledge / experience in creating geospatial software applications
using Python, SQL, JavaScript;
Experience of developing web mapping applications including AGOL and
mobile data collection;
Strong numerical and statistical skills
